Altho we represent some of the most talented communicators in Christendom ... well, we actually have something to say ourselves. We may be slightly prejudiced but we like to think we have some very astute, and creative, thinkers at Ambassador. Here's what's been on their minds most recently. Encourage, engage, and equip--that was the purpose of last week's Momentum 2012 in Orlando, hosted by the Christian Music Broadcasters.  And quite honestly, that was very much my experience.

Of course, the best encouragement at these types of gatherings always comes from the wonderful fellowship with ministry and radio friends.  The musical performances from Christian artists are the icing on the cake.  

As for engage and equip, that help came from the quality speakers at this event, including these two industry experts ...

I'm a new mommy.

I'm a wife, daughter, aunt, friend and co-worker but my newest title that I was blessed with 4 months ago is - Mommy.

It's been wonderful getting back into the swing of things here at Ambassador and it's also been fun to think back on a few baby moments that leave me laughing and wondering how I'm still standing:

I was in labor with Luke for 26 hours. That's pretty much the equivalent time of flying to Antarctica...without the peanuts.

Luke weighed 9lbs 8oz at birth...pretty much the same ...

Traditions-- Gotta Love Them?

What better time than the first week of a New Year to think about traditions

There are standard traditions like giving loved ones a box of chocolates on Valentine's Day or watching fireworks on the 4th of July.

Traditions can also be personal . . . in our house, we have a number of traditions -- from the silly to the significant.   There's mommy tickle time (ok, so only my 8 year old still appreciates this tradition!), to family prayers before bedtime.  Whether mundane or momentous, traditions play an important role in life --- they're a great way to bind families ...
