The fall colors are behind us and we're into the Christmas red, green, silver and well. . .no earth colors!
It's my favorite time of the year. So much so, I'm ready for the lights, the music and the decorations as early as possible. What can I say? I keep Christmas music in my car all year!
On December 1, my office at Ambassador was "fully festooned" and I'm feelin' the mood!
But for a lot of people it's the loneliest time of the year; a reminder of what used to be or what never was. Can you imagine the eyes of a foster care child, or a single mom or dad, someone in the military stationed nearby, who's eyes will light up when you say, "Hey, how would you like to spend Christmas with us?"
Make that connect to true Christmas ministry! One person reaching out to another. "Jesus with skin on." Make it a Christmas to remember!
