Man Vs. 4x4

In the days of old (circa 1990's), men were forced to prove themselves by going head-to-head with man's newest - and greatest - foe: the internet. Now that we have an iPhone in every pocket and an iPod with internet access in the other pocket, I'd say we pretty well conquered the internet.

So that's it I guess. Every single foe menkind (sorry girls) has ever faced has been conquered and video proof posted on YouTube. There's no other way for men to be men, and boys to feel inadequate in comparison.

I've Had Amnesia!

ClockHow else would you describe the phenomena of going from September 1 to December 1 with little memory of anything in between?

They say the older you get, the faster time flies.  As I talk with people of all ages and stages, that "age thing explanation" seems largely myth.  Most people I talk to are experiencing the same amnesia I'm suffering!

So before more time flashes before our eyes, some thoughts on these days before us.

SunglassesMy family and friends have always been amazed that I can spot a celebrity in a crowd even from the back of their famous head!

It doesn't happen by accident!  It requires an aberrant attention to everyone around me for the very purpose of spotting that lone celebrity in the crowd.  What can I say?  It's a shallow, superficial part of who I am.

I love observing pop culture, always have.
