Ground Hog's Day - Who Cares?

Living in So Cal most of my life, I didn't think too much about Ground Hog's Day.  Why should I?  The weather in California was nearly always sunny and temperatures rarely below 40 degrees (at night!).  I didn't care if the ground hog saw his shadow or not.  It didn't affect me.

Well, let me tell you ... now that I live in Pennsylvania, I do care!  And, given the multiple winter storms hitting the Midwest and East Coast these past few months, I'm sure I wasn't the only one hoping Spring would come early!

Unfortunately, just before dawn this morning Punxsutawney Phil emerged only to see his shadow.

Button up folks, it's another six weeks of winter!

Maybe next year Spring will arrive early.  In the meantime, I think it's time for me to take a trip to So Cal!  Don't you think? :-)

Stay warm,

Michelle Blood

Will we get to see you at NRB? It's not sunny California, but it's further south than PA!
