Who Won? AFC - 2009 Results

The 2009 AFC season has come to a close.  The votes have been counted, recounted and then shredded to avoid further recounting. All final results were tabulated and the winners are now declared!  While it's true that we connect ministry and media, we certainly also like to connect fun with food, which is why our winners this season will enjoy either an In-N-Out or Chick-Fil-A gift card. 

Our Ministry Partner division was certainly interesting this season as the number one seat often had a new winner sitting in it each week. In the end though, it's The Wilkins ...

Ground Hog's Day - Who Cares?

Living in So Cal most of my life, I didn't think too much about Ground Hog's Day.  Why should I?  The weather in California was nearly always sunny and temperatures rarely below 40 degrees (at night!).  I didn't care if the ground hog saw his shadow or not.  It didn't affect me.

Well, let me tell you ... now that I live in Pennsylvania, I do care!  And, given the multiple winter storms hitting the Midwest and East Coast these past few months, I'm sure I wasn't the only one hoping Spring would come ...

CES in Review

It’s been a couple of years since I’ve attended a Consumer Electronics Show.  But last weekend, the kid-in-the-candy-store feeling returned to me immediately.   Just to cover the show’s 1.4 million square feet of exhibits in a couple of days is a challenge—to the feet and the head.

None the less, a few observations from the show:

COOLEST PRODUCT
It’s the Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid Tablet.  I’ve always wanted to play with a tablet, but they make more sense than ever for e-readers and presentations.  Better still, this one converts from a tablet PC ...
