Al Sanders

Well, let's just say we "owe it all" to this fellow.  More than 50 years ago, Al Sanders founded Ambassador Advertising Agency (1959) primarily to serve the needs of "The Biola Hour" (Biola University-La Mirada CA).  Everything that has transpired since then has the imprint of his commitment to be "an ambassador for Christ" as he intended when using 2 Corinthians 5:20 as foundation to the corporate naming.

Honored a decade ago by the NRB with induction into their "Hall of Fame," Al has been recognized repeatedly for his innovative leadership that was responsible for launching such Christian radio "powerhouses" as "Focus on the Family" and "Insight for Living."  A gifted writer, Al continues to participate in the agency by generating scripts and other material for speakers such as Stuart Briscoe, Max Lucado and others.  Over the years, his voice has anchored many of the best Christian radio features on-the-air including Insight, "Joni and Friends®," "BreakPoint®" and more.  He also spent more than a decade with Radio Bible Class, privileged to serve as executive producer (and on-air host) of the weekly television series, "Day of Discovery."

Al continues to be highly engaged with the team at Ambassador (he's a favorite speaker for our staff devotions as well!)  He and wife, Margaret, are faithful examples of what it means to serve others -- and that's not just because he regularly treats us to delights such as homemade brownies.

The title of his book is "I'm Trying to Number My Days but I Keep Losing Count!" ... but his recurring message now is "Lord, let me finish well."
