Peggy Campbell APU Chair

It is with great pleasure and honor that the Ambassador family share in the announcement of Peggy Campbell as the newly-appointed Chair of the Board of Trustees for Azusa Pacific University.

Azusa President Jon Wallace announced that on May 18, 2012, Peggy Campbell, President of Ambassador Advertising Agency will become the first woman to hold the position of Board Chair in APU's 112-year history.

Of her appointment, President Wallace said:  "Peggy Campbell has served with distinction in a number of board leadership positions.  By unanimous vote, she has now been selected to serve as board chair, the highest leadership position in board governance.  I am excited and honored to serve under her leadership and believe great things lay ahead."

Peggy addressed the board, students, faculty and friends on December 17 as the Commencement speaker in the Felix Event Center on Azusa's campus.  More than 500 students in two separate ceremonies received their Bachelor's, Doctoral, and Master's degrees.  Azusa graduates approximately 2,300 students a year at its commencement ceremonies-students "who will impact the world with a Christian perspective of truth and life."

Peggy Campbell has been Ambassador's President since 2006 and currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for the National Religious Broadcasters as well as on the Board of Trustees for Azusa Pacific University.

Ambassador Advertising Agency, Irvine California, has partnered with Christian radio ministries worldwide for five decades.
