This time of year there's much to do and much on our minds.  In addition to the routine of life, with Christmas comes the decorating, festivities and gift buying.  More and more it seems we have to make a concerted effort at Christmas to keep the main thing, the main thing.

A Decade of Daily Light for Daily Living®

The Bible teaches that wisdom is extremely valuable.   As seasons of life come and go, as my children become young adults and as I experience the passing of years, the more wisdom I seek  . . . solid, Biblical wisdom. 

I have two favorite Bible verses about wisdom -- Job 12:12 reads, "With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding."  I also appreciate what Proverbs 13:20 says about wisdom, "He who walks with wise men will be wise."

While I may not "walk" with spiritual giants like Anne Graham Lotz, I do spend time with her as she shares ...

Daily Light for Daily Living® with Anne Graham Lotz Marks 10-Year Milestone in Radio Nationwide

Over a decade ago Anne Graham Lotz asked God for an answer to her prayer for direction in launching a one-minute feature on Christian radio.

Reading from Zechariah 4:10 she found her answer:

"Do not despise small beginnings,

for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin."

Daily Light for Daily Living® launched on Monday, October 3, 2005 with a program titled, "In the Beginning!" Each feature shares a Scripture verse with insight from Anne for its application in every-day life and is now heard on 600 outlets nationwide.
