The older I get, the more I'd like to think that I'm focusing on the things which really matter . . . less about the frivolous day-to-day things and more about the eternal. This is a milestone year for me as I turn 50 and with that marker, comes even more introspect.
In an upcoming "Living in the Light" radio program, Anne Graham Lotz asks "when night comes, either by death or rapture . . . five minutes before that takes place, what will you wish you had done differently in your life?"

We had a display at church this weekend featuring fragments from the Dead Sea Scrolls and a leaf from the Gutenberg Bible. It was pretty awe inspiring to see up close such amazing treasures dating back to 1455.
I also made sure that my children saw it. As a mom, faith in Christ and building a relationship with Him through His Word is my most important and most privileged priority.
