Interactive Game Provides Educational Tool, Global Experience
Colorado-based Compassion International, a leading child development and sponsorship organization, announced the launching of a new interactive, online adventure for kids that offers a unique curriculum supplement for parents and teachers by allowing their children and students to travel to several developing countries where they can meet children of other cultures and see first-hand the poverty that many have to live with on a daily basis.
Broadcaster helps fight global food crisis
International Gospel broadcast network Trans World Radio has joined forces with child-advocacy agency Compassion International to help fight against the global food crisis many children encounter.
Endeavoring to raise awareness and resources for the world's poverty-stricken countries, Compassion recently held a one-day radio campaign that was carried by more than 1,000 Christian radio stations in the US. The effort raised more than $3 million towards a global food relief initiative.
