Bringing a Biblical perspective to all that is happening in China, Charles Morris and HAVEN Today will be broadcasting directly from Beijing during the Olympics.
With a heart and passion for the Chinese people, Charles is already known as “Uncle Charles” on his daily program aired into mainland China. And it’s from this experience and knowledge of the nation that Charles offers an in depth look at the life, people and spirituality of China.
HAVEN Today is providing four ways for stations to be involved in this effort:
1) Air an “Olympic Minute”—in just 60 seconds, Charles brings a unique and careful analysis of life in China, providing a quick way for listeners to get up-to-date information.
2) Broadcast “HAVEN Today”—going in-depth into China, listeners will hear far more about what’s happening in this nation than they will in the secular media.
3) Share HAVEN’s Five-Minute Features—NPR-style, these vignettes explore the life of people in China…from the athlete to the working class to the Church.
4) Use HAVEN’s “Live-To-Tape” Shots—designed for use during morning and afternoon drive, these sound bites help listeners connect directly with the experiences and challenges of Chinese Christians face.
The motivation and inspiration behind all of these ventures by HAVEN Today is to highlight how God is moving in many different ways in China.
“I want to give you and your listeners the opportunity to be blessed by what God is doing in that nation of 1.3 billion people,” quotes Charles.
