While investigations continue into the tragic loss of three lives at a Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood and as we pray for the families of those who lost loved ones, I can't help but wonder about the innocent lives lost daily.  Every life, whether one not allowed to breathe outside its mother's womb, a police officer or civilians . . . each one precious in His sight.

There's a guy at church named Scott who says I'm his girlfriend.

The reality is I'm just one of the many he refers to as his girlfriend.

Scott is special for a lot of reasons - he's quick to smile, likes everyone and is always eager to help.   Scott is near and dear to the hearts of many  . . . including mine.  Scott is 17 year olds and has Down syndrome.

The Message of Life

I was back on my alma mater's campus this past week.  Much has changed since the late 1980's and yet, much has remained the same - the campus is full of young men and women ready to learn and change the future!  And, there are many who stand ready to come alongside to help mold and shape the mindset of the student body - to feed into them and educate their worldview.
