Planned Parenthood Aftermath -- Act and Pray

I'm a mom of three and with two of them driving, a recent Bloomberg report struck a chord with me. 

The report notes that while teens don't always listen to parents, they watch them.  "A lot of parents don't understand that they're the No. 1 influence when it comes to teaching their teens how to drive," Kyle Donash, a spokesman for Allstate.

While I could certainly work on my parenting skills, I'm thankful that I've had taken opportunities to show my children the importance of refraining from such risky behavior while driving.

#FathersDay

In Scripture the word "father" is found more than 1,100 times.  A father's involvement in the lives of his children is vitally important -- nearly every study conducted in the social sciences confirms what the Bible teaches . . . fathers matter.

I'm thankful to have many memories of my father -- some of which come vividly to mind when I hear certain songs like Nat King Cole's Stardust.

"Life Issues®" -- A Cheerleader for Moms!

It was a big week in our house as my first born graduated from college.  Talk about life milestones-- Saturday’s graduation ceremony was definitely that for us!

Among the crowd cheering for the 1100 graduates, there were many proud moms.  No doubt that in a  crowd that size, there were single, young, old and  adoptive moms . . . all united as proud moms doing what we do -- cheerleading for our children.
