Do us a Favor?

Join us in celebrating with our good friends, Glenn and Carol Price on the occasion of their final adoption interview at the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

They've found Favor. Oh yes!! With God and man and everyone who knows them in the person of a precious six year old Ethiopian girl whose name is Favor.  Is that just perfect or what?

This is one of those moments when God blesses those who watch and pray with the joy of sharing in what's being experienced this very moment in Ethiopia.

When Favor was only 20 days old she was abandoned by her teenage mother and raised in a home for street children and orphans.  Carol Price saw her picture nearly two years ago at a Bible study in her church.  She couldn't resist this little girl and now after 15 months, and lots of prayer and anticipation, Favor Price arrives in the U.S. on Saturday.

Addis Ababa in Amharic is "new flower!"  And what better way for her friends at Ambassador to acknowledge our little new friend than to say with roses, "Selam Favor!"

How blessed of the Lord you ALL are! As we know, there are no "coincidences," only "God-incidences!" He brought 2 boys into our family at a cost we could manage - nothing but very small amounts (and an anonymous donation, plus donated attorney's fees from two men!). I wish this was set up so we could share photos, but you'll have to take our word for the fact that they are two of the handsomest 26 and 21 yr. olds around. The elder recently gave his testimony at the church which ministered to his birth mother, and introduced them to his wife and son. Our middle son (the next one we adopted) struggled with serious effects of fetal alcohol exposure, but by the grace of God has largely overcome them. God met all our needs somehow and we made it out alive, though sometimes we despaired (oh, ye of little faith!). Our girls (homegrown, along with our bio youngest son) have managed to bond well, have grown, learned much, and have shown the grace of God in their adult (and growing) lives now. You will be so blessed!
