I have many, but I'll always remember Christmas morning when, after sharing gifts, my Dad would read aloud the Christmas story from Luke. It's a tradition that we now practice in my own family.
As a child, I didn't realize the impact of that special time together as much as I do now, being a mom of two young children. Recognizing how important it is to reflect on God's gift to us and that Christmas means so much more than if we got exactly what we'd wished for that year.
Well, Elizabeth George beat my Dad to it this year. In her latest radio special, "An Old-Fashioned Christmas," Elizabeth tells the Christmas story from Mary's point of view along with sharing some "resolves" to take into the New Year.
I invite you to take a few minutes to listen to Elizabeth's message and encourage you to share it with your listeners.
Please let me know if you plan on airing "An Old-Fashioned Christmas" and I would love for you to share your favorite Christmas memory with me!
Blessings on your holiday season,
