Man holding ComputerYou know the phrase location, location, location? Well, that's exactly what Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is all about. It's not just random words and phrases...it's about making sure people find you and go to you as an authority on your topic.

We live in a world where your "address" on the internet is highly important for revenue, new business, brand awareness, and credibility. It's not simply enough to have as site-you need to rank within the search engines!

This past week I had the privilege of attending an in-depth training on SEO with a highly ...

Anne Graham Lotz and National Bible Week

Anne Graham Lotz (Turqoise)I had the best weekend.

On Sunday morning, my 7 year old daughter (who had placed her faith in Christ when she was 5) stood in front of our church family and shared that she wanted to be baptized because she loves Jesus and wants to show others that she is on "Jesus' team."

As a mother of three children, I firmly believe that the most important and powerful education we can give to our children, is the knowledge of God. And, the best way to teach our children about God, is from His Word.

As Anne Graham Lotz shares ...

Don't get me wrong-I'm a faithful raconteur on Facebook (and obviously going through my French phase!) but it's not a substitute for the real thing.  It's "media" not "life!"

When was the last time you prayed with someone on Facebook?
Or even "twittered" a prayer?

When was the last time you hugged your "fans"?
Or had one of them to dinner?  (Whoa-let's not get too "up close and personal.")

Who do you go to when you've suffered a loss?  "You" Tube?  I don't think so.

This past week one of our leadership received ...

Pray with Compassion for Crisis in El Salvador

Compassion Crisis in El SalvadorI didn't realize I was figuratively holding my breath until I noticeably exhaled.  I had just heard that Hurricane Ida had been downgraded again.  The Gulf Coast seemed to be safe.

Then I got an email from Compassion - "Pray for Compassion El Salvador."  I read on, concerned for the kids in the projects.  Then I remembered, There's a Compassion Blogger Trip to El Salvador this week - that's probably what they're talking about.

I guessed wrong.  I was being alerted to an urgent report from a Compassion field office.  This past weekend, heavy rains from Hurricane Ida ...

Do You Fit At Church?

My husband and I have recently gained a full appreciation for the effort it takes to find a new church home. After settling in as newly weds, finding a place to connect with believers was a top priority. And if I’m really honest with you, I’d have to say it’s not only been overwhelming…at times, it’s been downright discouraging. But if there’s one thing that stands out to me through this arduous process so far—I’ve learned that Church isn’t about me (I know, shocker.) It’s about a body of believers ...

Will You Celebrate Christmas With Me?

Traditions play a big part in my family's Christmas celebration....as I'm sure they do yours as well. After Christmas Eve service, we go over to my in-laws house, and with my extended family, read the Christmas story from the Scriptures.  We'll "break up" the story with songs...so when we get to the appearance of the angels we'll sing (you guessed it) "Hark the Herald Angels Sing." Etc.

I would love for you to come over on Christmas Eve after church and share in our tradition...but mom and dad's house is pretty crammed ...
