I had the unique privilege of celebrating my birthday by enjoying a message from Max Lucado on how to be "fearless." What made it even better was that he sat no more than 20 feet away from me!
Even at 25 years young, I know what it means to be afraid. Fear, if allowed to take residence in our lives, has the potential to make us miserable! I couldn't think of a better message to launch me into the next stages of my life than the wisdom Max had to impart on being "fearless".
As I enter 2010, despite all the difficult situations I may come across, the one word that comes to mind is "empowered." There's no need to be full of fear when we trust. I can do what God has in store for me - trusting that God's ways are infinitely better that what I could ever imagine!
I am pleased to let you know that we recorded this wonderful session we had with Max and have it in a 54:00 or 24:00 format for you to share with your listeners! We also have a short video of our time with Max that you won't want to miss.
