Last March, over 1,000 radio stations and broadcast ministries partnered with Compassion International for the first Global Food Crisis Day - raising over $3 million to help relieve the suffering of those caught in the grip of the global food crisis.

Ways to Share the love of Christ


I stopped at the market on my way home from AWANA last night to pick up some milk—I walked out with something much more valuable. 


The checker asked me what AWANA stood for—I explained  that AWANA was one of the  outreaches our church provided to share with children (and parents) about God and the Bible. 


Next time I go to the market, I’m going to invite the checker to visit my church, but in the meantime, I’m thankful that in those few minutes, God used me to share the ...

Kay Arthur Hits a Nerve with YouTube Video

Kay Arthur, co-founder of Precept Ministries International®, launched a video message September 12th on YouTube, sharing from God's Word regarding America's current spiritual condition.  Since the video was posted on YouTube, it has received almost 40,000 views, over 500 comments and over 200 ratings from viewers.  It was rated the number five video in YouTube's Non-Profit and Activist category for the day.

By referencing text from books of the Bible including Amos, Isaiah, Jeremiah and Daniel, Kay shares a message that "God cannot bless a nation that turns their back on God."  Viewers have posted comments ...

Join us in celebrating with our good friends, Glenn and Carol Price on the occasion of their final adoption interview at the U.S. Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

They've found Favor. Oh yes!! With God and man and everyone who knows them in the person of a precious six year old Ethiopian girl whose name is Favor.  Is that just perfect or what?

This is one of those moments when God blesses those who watch and pray with the joy of sharing in what's being experienced this very moment in Ethiopia.

The Universal Language Called Love & Mercy

I was shocked when I searched for "Mercy Ships®" in Google Trends, a search utility providing interesting information of different words searched globally.  I expected for the majority of the searches made for "Mercy Ships®" to be in theWater United States, but I was wrong!  The United States ranked 9th, behind countries like South Africa (1st), New Zealand (2nd) and Netherlands (3rd).

Facebook!  I greeted it with the same enthusiasm with which I greet most social interaction: "Do I have to?"

So, let's check off my original bias:

1/Facebook's a place people exchange fun pleasantries about where they're eating lunch, or who they just ran into. (Ooops, confusing Facebook with Twitter!)

2/mothers/dads keeping track of their offspring without appearing too controlling! (I'm all for it, but I'm not a parent.)

3/grandmothers wanting to hear from their grandchildren and EXCEPT for Facebook never hear or see enough of them. (Girl, you go for it ...
