News & Insights

With 50 years of experience, we "get" that things are always changing! That's why we've dedicated a section of our website to provide the very latest information about the speakers and ministries we serve--and about us, too. Come take a look at "what's new"--or use the sidebar options to take a deeper look at areas of particular interest. In case you wonder what we think, we've dedicated a space for commentary (including guest posts). And take a look at who's been to Ambassador lately in our own version of the Greenroom!

Anne Graham Lotz Reflecting on 2010

Reflection is a common word this time of year but what my pastor shared this week in his message was anything but common.

He encouraged us to take a deep breath of grace while we review and reflect on what God has done in our lives this past year.  To take the time to write down what we thought of this past year and then ask God what He thought about it.

Reflecting and remembering what God has done in our lives in 2010 is an important assignment - personally and corporately.

And that's what the ministry of Anne Graham ...

Reviving Your Devotional Life

As I hang up a new calendar for 2011, look at a fresh "to do" list, and grab my "One-Year Bible" off the shelf, a feeling of refreshment washes over me.  It's a new year that brings about a fresh start and time to make some new commitments.

I wonder, though, how will I feel in a few weeks when the pressures of life have set in and I've grown tired of reading through Leviticus, yet again!

Perhaps you struggle as I do in keeping up with a demanding schedule and still finding time to meet with God ...

Unlimited Opportunities for 2011 and Beyond

HCJB Global Nepal Radio Station

It's a good feeling when you flip back the calendar year and realize just how productive you were able to be in the course of twelve (seemingly short) months.  The team at HCJB Global knows all about that -- and they're excited to have all of us join them in the "unlimited opportunities" they see for the cause of Christ in 2011.

All it takes is a quick look back to see that God is blessing the work of HCJB Global.  Here are a few examples, as the ministry's president, Wayne Pederson, recently wrote:

Christmas Gifts vs. Christmas Hymns

Letters to Santa UpWords® Max LucadoI admit it.  I wrote letters to Santa Claus.  My sister and I made sure we listed each and every present we wanted and then gave the letters to our parents to mail off to the North Pole. We were duped, but we didn't know (or care)!

Christmas morning, however, was a mixed bag.  We loved getting the presents (from Santa, of course!), but going to church and singing all four stanzas for each and every Christmas hymn seemed to last forever.

Now that I am 'older and wiser', I realize that I had my priorities mixed up.  The ...

Remembering Haiti with Compassion

Compassion Haitian children

Is there anything good happening in Haiti?

Compassion International is ready to help stations answer this question for listeners through a number of new resources available for "Remember Haiti with Compassion" day on January 12.

Wess Stafford has said, "Haiti was home to one of the worst disasters of our time. Then the earthquake hit."  As the anniversary of the devastating earthquake approaches, many will be wondering -- Is it even possible to rebuild a country so ravaged by disaster and poverty?

Plan now to be a part of a special day when Christian broadcasting pauses to share hope and encouragement ...
