A Broken Clock is Right Twice a Day...

Chuck Colson and Mark Earley at NRB 2010While eating dinner with a friend recently we were diving into one of my favorite conversations-an apologetic for the Christian worldview. About midway through she made an incredibly poignant statement (not only because we've just passed day light saving time, but also because of the truth in such a simple comment):

"A broken clock is right twice a day...but a clock set to the wrong time is never right."

What an incredible insight into worldview. We're all bound to be wrong at times with our beliefs-we're "broken," finite and deprived. But, when we set our entire belief system on a false notion-we won't have Truth as our foundation for our faith.

Chuck Colson and Mark Earley understand the magnitude of engaging in right thinking. It impacts your daily thoughts, actions and character-and ultimately, it's about living the way God designed us to live.

That's exactly what your listeners hear every day on BreakPoint® and The Point®. Chuck and Mark cover an array of topics from pop-culture to politics and beyond. But the heart of every message is making sure we're not setting our lives on "the wrong time." It's about Jesus Christ and His glory.

We loved spending time with many of our station partners during NRB! An incredible year between Chuck Colson being inducted into the NRB Hall of Fame and Mark Earley accepting the Best Short-Form Program of the Year on behalf of the Point, NRB 2010 was packed with significant milestones. These pictures capture a few of those highlights from Nashville!

By the way, if you haven't had a chance to see Chuck Colson's "Two Minute Warning" videos put out each Wednesday at the Colson Center, make sure to check it out. To make these "Two Minute Warning" videos easy to share with your listeners, they're available on You Tube. To share this week's, just double click on the video below and use the HTML from the side for the You Tube window to place it on your website.

I know Chuck and Mark and the entire team with BreakPoint® and The Point® are looking forward to 2010 with expectation that lives will continue to be changed, hearts will be transformed and the broken will find healing. Thank you for partnering with us!
