In one the saddest chapters in the Bible, Jeremiah 25, God says, "I have spoken to you again and again but you have not listened."
And at what cost?
A people, chosen by God, led by Moses himself to the gateway of a promised land of freedom, these generations later were condemned to 70 years of desolate captivity for their repeatedly arrogant disobedience.
On Thursday we will gather as a staff here at Ambassador to pray for our leaders, local, national and global on the National Day of Prayer.
Psalm 32:6 says, "therefore let everyone who is godly pray. . ."
I have promised to keep Your works! (Psalm 119:57)
Praise the Lord, all nations, laud Him, all peoples! (Psalm 117:1)
Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations!
(Psalm 90:1)
O God of hosts, restore us! (Psalm 80:7)
Not to us, O Lord, not to us, but to Your name be the glory,
because of Your love and faithfulness.
