It may be summertime but I keep thinking it's time to get back to the basics. I'm not talking about reading, writing and arithmetic though . . . I'm referring to the basics of sharing about Christ.
For more than 50 years, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has been using a simple tract to bring people to faith in Jesus Christ. In four brief steps, people come to an understanding of how to find eternal life.
Developed in 1954 during Billy Graham's London Crusade, "Steps to Peace With God" with its succinct and clear presentation of how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, has been shared with millions of people.
Four brief steps.
It doesn't get more basic than that.
Four steps and I can help lead my unsaved neighbor-the one struggling financially and questioning "why" her life turned out the way it did-to Christ.
With so many people wondering about the "meaning of life," there's no better time than now to get back to the basics . . . by airing evangelistic programming like the "Hour of Decision®" or the one-minute "Decision Minute" features and by sharing four basic steps with an unbeliever.
(And, if you're looking for a way to get "back to the basics" on your web site, let me know and I'll provide you the link to the "Steps to Peace" web page.)
Yes, today's 100+ temperatures remind me that it's summertime, but more importantly, I'm reminded that it's always the right time to focus on the basics . . . and help change a life for eternity by doing so!

P.S. Coming up later this month for BGEA . . . please pray that many young people will respond to the Gospel this summer during Rock the River Tour West, a series of youth-focused evangelistic events where Franklin will preach numerous times (first one is August 7th Fraser Valley, British Columbia).Download Promo Pack File »
