It’s been a couple of years since I’ve attended a Consumer Electronics Show.  But last weekend, the kid-in-the-candy-store feeling returned to me immediately.   Just to cover the show’s 1.4 million square feet of exhibits in a couple of days is a challenge—to the feet and the head.

None the less, a few observations from the show:

It’s the Lenovo IdeaPad U1 Hybrid Tablet.  I’ve always wanted to play with a tablet, but they make more sense than ever for e-readers and presentations.  Better still, this one converts from a tablet PC ...

Jim Garlow At NRB 2010

Jim GarlowJim Garlow's candid and straightforward style is one that listeners love. That's why so many stations have been adding his feature this year. He's talking about issues that your listeners deal with on a daily basis...like how political a Christian should be or what role Christians have with the environment. He's equipping people to engage the cultural conversation with relevant and biblical content.

If you know Jim, you know his passion for doing this comes from his commitment to bridge the Church and culture. He wants to make sure believers understand the hot topic issues ...

Billy Graham Evangelistic Association Celebrates 60 Year Milestone

He was only 15 years old, the son of a dairy farmer in Charlotte, N.C., when Billy Graham's life was changed eternally as he responded to an invitation at a revival meeting.  It wasn't long thereafter that he realized his calling was to tell the world about Jesus Christ.

Men like George Wilson, Cliff Barrows, George Beverly Shea, T.W. Wilson, Grady Wilson and others would comprise the team that helped Billy Graham launch BGEA in 1950.  They had no idea then that it would one day become one of the largest and most established evangelistic ministries ...

Jon CampbellLife goes on!  There's no one who believed that more strongly than Jon Campbell.  But the other day as we gathered as a staff, and I looked around the room, I realized a number of our staff never knew Jon.  How can that be?  Has it been that many years?

Life does go on.  But what great reminders to have of those who've led us, influenced our lives, been a part of our mistakes and blunders and moments of joy and sorrow.

Over the years people have asked me, "What would cause you to leave Ambassador?"  And my ...

So Cal Doctor Ordered to Stop Performing Abortions

Ultrasound PictureDoctor is told to stop performing abortions was the headline in an article which appeared in the LA Times just this past Friday.

The article explained that a Southern California obstetrician-gynecologist was told to immediately stop performing abortions until a formal disciplinary hearing could be held about the death of one of his patients during an abortion.

While unfortunately we know the reality about abortions taking place across the country and women who die from abortions, when you read about it happening in your own neighborhood, it really hits home.

Stopping it from hitting home is something we all need ...

A Daunting Task or a Wonder-filled Delight?

Robert and the 90 day BibleTwo Years ago, I read through the Bible in 123 days….I know, I know I was supposed to read through it in 90 but…life happened.

Yesterday, I was listening to HAVEN Today, and Charles Morris had Ted Cooper on – a former agnostic who had his life supernaturally transformed by reading the Bible.  On the show Charles invited people to join him starting Monday  (1/11) to read through the whole Bible in 90 days.

The thought crossed my mind…maybe I could do it in 90 days.  Maybe I could read it out loud to my wife?  I ...
