For this month--here's what we posted to our News & Insights section!

A Confession

Confession time.  I didn't make it.  I tried...but between NRB and Easter,  I haven't been able to finish the Bible in 90 days. In fact, I'm not even done with the Old Testament. I know some of you have finished the whole thing and been blessed.  Come to think of it, I've been blessed by the portions I've read...even though I'm not done.

Isn't that really the point though?  This week on HAVEN Today...Charles Morris is giving us a chance to "get back with the program." A shot at redemption ...

First Impression Hand ShakeYou have less than 30 seconds to make a strong first impression. It's in your hand shake, your eye contact, your body posture...and, of course, those first few words out of your mouth. For Search Engine Optimization (SEO), your title tag is your "first impression."

The goal for SEO is to help search engines understand the essence of who you are via your website. That's where your title tag comes in. You can find your title tag within your HTML code in the meta tags and you can also see what your title is by looking at ...

A happy face...a devastating secret

A silence that's hurting our children.

Child abuse.  It' not very popular to talk about.  The very mention will pretty much shut down a conversation.  But we'd better talk about it!

This month is our opportunity.  April is national Child Abuse Prevention Month.

So how do we prevent child abuse?

Telling the TruthThis week begins a new broadcast series from Stuart Briscoe of "Telling the Truth."  It's called, "God Has a Plan - and We're Part of It!"  On today's broadcast, Stuart teaches from Ephesians and reminds listeners that "God's plan has personal dimensions" . . . and that, "Whilst God has a cosmic, eternal plan - he also has a will and purpose for each of our lives."

Sometimes God's plans involve a change of course, which is true today for the ministry of Telling the Truth.  At the end of April, Ambassador will conclude representation of "Telling the Truth" programming ...

Life is precious...

Lee Ann Jackson and Peggy Campbell

Life is precious.

Life is worth fighting for.

Life is from God.

Do you see these truths shared in the media today? Rarely, if at all.  Popular culture transmits values and worldviews faster than a viral infection.  The once popularized concept of a trickle down effect seems to have exploded and transformed into a fire hydrant. Information overload. Tolerance and Pluralism reign.  The mantra they scream is . . .

Life is not precious.

Life is not worth fighting for.

Life is not from God.

And that's the message that Brad Mattes of Life Issues® Institute shares daily . . . that life is in ...

What's Your Advice to a Younger Generation?

Al & Margaret SandersRecently we asked Ambassador's founder Al Sanders what advice he would give to a younger generation.  Here are his answers:

What's the secret to a 62 year marriage?
The secret for me is having such a good wife.  Not everyone is as fortunate.  Be willing to laugh (especially at yourself)!

Do you wish you were younger?
Everything I see makes me glad I'm at this age, and so close to the end. (I do wish I knew more about the Internet and some of these nwe electronic gadgets).

What's your favorite hymn?
It is Well with ...
