If you're anything like me, Earth Day hasn't been your thing. I've never really done anything on Earth Day (except maybe plant a tree with my third grade class). I'm not ungrateful for creation. it's just that I didn't know "what" Earth Day really was about. A certain paranoia overcame me, wanting to avoid being labeled as a person who was "worshipping creation rather than the creator."
Good news. If you're involved in Earth Day, it's actually an opportunity to magnify the Creator...not detract! That's exactly what Jim Garlow hones ...

Confession time. I didn't make it. I tried...but between NRB and Easter, I haven't been able to finish the Bible in 90 days. In fact, I'm not even done with the Old Testament. I know some of you have finished the whole thing and been blessed. Come to think of it, I've been blessed by the portions I've read...even though I'm not done.
Isn't that really the point though? This week on HAVEN Today...Charles Morris is giving us a chance to "get back with the program." A shot at redemption ...

You have less than 30 seconds to make a strong first impression. It's in your hand shake, your eye contact, your body posture...and, of course, those first few words out of your mouth. For Search Engine Optimization (SEO), your title tag is your "first impression."

So how do we prevent child abuse?
The answer is simple. Stop it!
Child abuse thrives on silence. More often than not, abuse is generational, a well kept family secret. Fundamentally, the most effective deterrent to child abuse is to not abuse your own child and by raising children who don't abuse their child ...

This week begins a new broadcast series from Stuart Briscoe of "Telling the Truth." It's called, "God Has a Plan - and We're Part of It!" On today's broadcast, Stuart teaches from Ephesians and reminds listeners that "God's plan has personal dimensions" . . . and that, "Whilst God has a cosmic, eternal plan - he also has a will and purpose for each of our lives."
Sometimes God's plans involve a change of course, which is true today for the ministry of Telling the Truth. At the end of April, Ambassador will conclude representation of "Telling the Truth" programming ...

Life is precious.
Life is worth fighting for.
Life is from God.
Do you see these truths shared in the media today? Rarely, if at all. Popular culture transmits values and worldviews faster than a viral infection. The once popularized concept of a trickle down effect seems to have exploded and transformed into a fire hydrant. Information overload. Tolerance and Pluralism reign. The mantra they scream is . . .
Life is not precious.
Life is not worth fighting for.
Life is not from God.
And that's the message that Brad Mattes of Life Issues® Institute shares daily . . . that life is in ...
