That's why we've dedicated a section of our website to provide the very latest information about the speakers and ministries we serve--and about us, too. Come take a look at "what's new"--or use the sidebar options to take a deeper look at areas of particular interest. In case you wonder what we think, we've dedicated a space for commentary (including guest posts). And take a look at who's been to Ambassador lately in our own version of the Greenroom!

Emilie Barnes and FamilyMother's touch our lives as no one else can, and a mother's legacy is truly a precious gift that she passes on to her family.  So, in honor of our mothers and grandmothers, on May 9th we celebrate Mother's Day.

Emilie Barnes' mother left her a wonderful legacy that she will continue to pass on to her daughter and granddaughter.  Her mother passed on the legacy of being a woman of faith, living a Godly life, and modeling the Father's unconditional love. Precious gifts indeed!

Psalm 32:6 says, "therefore let everyone who is godly pray ...

What does no one make like mom?

Question of the MonthIt's no secret that Mother's Day is this Sunday, May 9th...but were you aware of "Eat What You Want Day" on May 11th?  We knew you'd want to know!

In honor of both important upcoming calendar dates, we asked people if they had a favorite dish that no one makes like their mama!  Here are a few answers (see more in the May edition of Ambassador's Update):

I'd have to say that's my granny's gingerbread.  Growing up in Dallas, she made it for us every weekend, from scratch!  I don't think ...

One Act of Compassion

Did you know that April was National Child Abuse Prevention Month?  What did you do to raise awareness and prevent child abuse?

Each day, over 500 radio stations champion the cause of children through Compassion International's short feature, Speak Up With Compassion® with Wess Stafford.  Wess often shares with listeners that it can take just one person's voice to make a world of difference in the life of a child.

Yesterday during Ambassador's weekly staff devotion time, we paused to watch an incredible look at how one act can save a child -- a child of Compassion!

It ...
