"Face to face"

Face to face Mercy Ships®Before there was "Video Calling" on Facebook, "FaceTime" on iOS devices, and even video conferencing on Skype, people engaged in "face to face." This is exactly how the volunteer team on the Africa Mercy, now docked in Sierra Leone, share Christ's love!

Healing the sick and encouraging the broken hearted, the crew of Mercy Ships® daily lovingly interact on a "face to face" basis with thousands of people. Performing life changing surgeries and encouraging men, women and children, they tirelessly love those they have been entrusted with. They don't just stop there - they regularly give their own blood so that others might live!

The daily "Mercy Minute" feature from Mercy Ships® is all about the "face to face" connection with people. Although we may not be able to change a person's life through surgery, we certainly can impact them through a word of encouragement, a homemade meal, or even a simple pat on the back.

Mercy Ships®, however, isn't just about healing the physical body. They are also interested in everyone's spiritual health. Thankfully, we don't need to give our own blood here so that others might live . . . Jesus already did that for us. It's just our job to help everyone get the blood transfusion!

People change people, and there are few things that change people as much as love, grace and mercy. Thank you for encouraging your listeners to spend some "face to face" time with one another and thus change the world!
