Where Were You on 9/11?

I can still remember where I was on the morning of 9/11 . . . I'd just arrived at the office after hearing news on the car radio about a plane which had crashed into the one of the twin towers.  

Slowly, the full tragic story began to unfold . . .  in shock and horror, we all soon realized that this was a day we would never forget. 

This September marks the 10^th anniversary of 9/11 and even as we all recall where we were on that fateful morning, Anne Graham Lotz underscores God is sending us a wake up call . . . and that we need to consider the times in which we live, refocus on Jesus as our Hope for the future, and ask God to re-ignite such an intense longing for His return that we live the rest of our lives with no regrets!

On Sunday, September 11^th, Joel Rosenberg joins Anne Graham Lotz in a two hour live radio special, A Wake-Up Call for God's People.  As the country's focus that weekend will be on the significant marking of the 10th anniversary of 9/11, the special is a timely and important message for all about the days in which we live.

As I reflect on where I was on 9/11 in a physical sense, I'm stopping to consider where I am today in a spiritual sense . . . as Anne reflected in an interview with CBS's The Early Show two days after 9/11, "I pray that God will use this event to change us forever in a positive way. And that it will strengthen our faith in Him."  

A decade later, it could be that we need A Wake-Up Call for God's People.
