In many ways, it seems like yesterday but this September 11th will mark 10 years since the terror attacks at the World Trade Center in NYC, the Pentagon in DC, and the tragic but heroic crash of UA Flight 93 over Shanksville, PA. Knowing that the tenth anniversary of 9/11 will be a time of spiritual reflection for all who were touched by these events, many are planning now for how they will mark the day.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will mark the day with a special "Hour of Decision®" broadcast devoted to 9/11 - beginning with a rebroadcast of Mr. Graham's message to the country.
In addition to the poignant words from Mr. Graham, the special program will include recollections/comments from Cliff Barrows who was at the Washington National Cathedral with Mr. Graham.
Also included in the program will be a Ministry Focus report which will feature Franklin Graham and Chad Hammond-- who was on the ground in NYC on 9/11 and following 9/11, helped develop BGEA's outreach, the Rapid Respond Team.
All stations are invited to air this special "Hour of Decision®" broadcast - just email me for one-time clearance if you aren't an "Hour of Decision®" station partner and plan to air the 9/11 broadcast.
"Finally, difficult as it may be for us to see right now -- this event can give a message of hope -- hope for the present, and hope for the future," Mr. Graham.
