Water of Life

If you live to be at least 80 and drink a "normal" amount of water a day (64 ounces), you will have consumed 14,600 gallons of water.

Your water probably comes from a faucet, bottle or refrigerator door.  More than likely, it's safe water.  Compassion is concerned for those whose water comes from a lake, pond or puddle.  That's because they know that contaminated water kills 3.3 million people each year.

Every 15 seconds, a child dies from water-related diseases.

See why Compassion is so passionate about a new Water of Life filter that solves the urgent need to provide safe drinking water to children like Fiona and her family.  Watch this video:

Providing safe drinking water is a critical part of Compassion's proven approach to child development that begins with a pregnant mother and continues through young adulthood.  This is benefiting more than 1.2 million children and equipping them to break free from poverty.

It's just one more way they're "Speaking Up With Compassion" in Jesus' name.

P.S. With the help of his church's VBS program, Ambassador's Robert Jacobsen recently raised funds to give 20 Water of Life filters to families like Fiona!  (Would you like to do the same?)
