Where were you when the towers fell?
I was driving up the 55 freeway to Ambassador, listening to the radio and I couldn't believe my ears - a plane had crashed into The Twin Towers ... and our nation hasn't been the same since.
It was a defining moment in our history which is still shaping who we are today. It's because of that fact that all next week the HAVEN team is producing material around the commemoration of September 11th.
-Tuesday night in New York City, Charles Morris will be recording a special 3 minute commentary that you can air at your convenience any time between Wednesday and Sunday...it'll be great content for a morning show or afternoon drive. (You'll be able to get it from Ambassador's web site - contact me for instructions)
-In addition, Tuesday - Friday (9/6-9) HAVEN will be releasing a daily 1 minute spot (which will take place of the HAVEN NOWs) entitled "HAVEN Remembers 9/11."
-Last but not least - we'll be running a special series on Haven Today (our daily 26 minute broadcast) from Tuesday through the Weekend we're calling "Lessons from 9/11." In addition to daily teaching, Charles will be interviewing 9/11 survivors & hearing how the God used that day to teach them and shape them.
We hope we can serve your listeners by helping them remember not just the events of 9/11....but The Great Story as well
