America changed on 9/11/01. We were shocked and stunned that we weren't invincible, that terrorists could attack us on our soil. It also made most of us think about our own mortality and our walk with God.
In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of that infamous day in our history, Emilie Barnes has dedicated the Keep It Simple program that airs on 9/9 to honor all we lost on 9/11. She reminds us that the Lord is our comfort and only hope.
In addition to the 9/11 commemorative program, Emilie has put together several programs for Grandparents Day (also celebrated on 9/11 this year). They air on 9/5-8, and I'm sure you'll want to share them with a special grandparent in your life!
Take a moment this month to pray for America, the families that lost loved ones, and of course all the grandparents in our lives! And, don't forget to pray for Emilie Barnes, who helps keep us organized and offers encouragement just when we need it!
