"I am hopeful for a bright future for my child."
I can think of many moms who would agree with that statement. In fact, with school back in session it's likely that moms of school-aged kids are particularly attentive to thoughts of their child's future.
Those moms who are driving their kids to and from school who are tuning in to Christian radio hear messages that support their concern. One of those messages comes from Compassion International through its daily 1:00 feature, "Speak Up With Compassion®." Compassion President Wess Stafford daily talks about the importance of speaking into a child's life -- whether that child is in your home, your neighbor's home or a home in poverty.
The mom who said, "I am hopeful for a bright future for my child" is a mom who lives in poverty. Because of Compassion's involvement in her life and the life of her child, she has hope that others do not have. Watch this video to hear more powerful one-sentence testimonies to the impact of Compassion's Child Survival Program:
Be sure you're encouraging the moms you know -- and that you're speaking up with Compassion on behalf of children everywhere!
