There's no doubt that in recent years, we've experienced endless business scandals in our country. Is there any hope to recapturing ethics in the workplace? Take a minute to examine your own ethical compass. Have you ever told a story to get out of work?
In the next episode (sixth) in the "Doing the Right Thing" series for release this weekend, Chuck Colson and John Stonestreet tackle this important issue while emphasizing that business is a noble pursuit which can make a positive contribution to society. However, the reality is that so many people, and so many Christians, tend to leave their ethics at home when they go to work.
Chuck and John along with guest contributors, Brit Hume, Michael Miller, and others share some examples of companies who are "doing the right thing" in business and how we should be living out our commitments at home and at work.

As Mark points out in this exchange with Chuck, our government can't save us from our own lack of ethics and personal responsibility. In fact, he says, in such scenarios, the government often rushes into the void left by the deterioration of the family, religion and trust, leaving us with either tyranny, or an unsustainable nanny state.
