By the Numbers

There are different types of numbers - natural numbers, integers, rational numbers, complex numbers, computable numbers  . . . then, there are real numbers. 

During these significant days for the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, here are some of the ministry's real numbers:  

The Billy Graham Audio Archives 

The BGEA is releasing more than 1,600 messages from more than six decades of Billy Graham's evangelistic ministry - all available for streaming online at www.billygraham.org. 

Visitors to www.billygraham.org can access an online collection of hundreds of audio files - some 900 plus from Billy Graham Crusades. Other messages in the digital archive include select Hour of Decision^® broadcasts from 1951-1974; addresses from events ranging from the Amsterdam 1986 global evangelistic summit to Graham's final crusade in 2005; and comments of historical importance including remarks at the funeral service of President Lyndon B. Johnson. 

"Mr. Graham's messages have inspired millions around the world and will continue to do so with the release of this audio library," said Ken Barun, senior vice president of communications for BGEA. "With more than 2 billion users on the Internet, his messages can now be accessed by many more for easy listening and sharing. Our ultimate goal is to continue Billy's mission of using whatever means possible to spread the Gospel."

America's Preacher Celebrates A Birthday

On November 7^th, Billy Graham marked his 93^rd birthday.  

"Every day is a gift from God, no matter how old we are," Graham said in a recent press release. "I have discovered that just because we grow weaker physically as we age, it doesn't mean that we must grow weaker spiritually. In fact, we ought to be growing stronger spirituallybecause our eyes ought to be on eternity and heaven --on the things that really matter." 

The BGEA reports, "nearly 215 million people in more than 185 countries" have been reached through the ministry of Billy Graham.  

In his lifetime, Graham has led many thousands to make a decision to receive Jesus as Savior, and to live for Christ. 

Billy Graham once said, "One of the great joys of my life has been to travel around the world and meet thousands of Christians in every country." With the launch of the Billy Graham Audio Archives, thousands of people from around the world will be able to access the words and messages of Billy Graham and have another chance to "meet" the man often referred to as "America's pastor." 

It doesn't get much more real than that.
