This past Thanksgiving, my husband and I drove to New England to be with his family. It's our new tradition since our move to the East Coast four years ago. Prior to that, we spent most of the holidays with my family in California. Admittedly, having families on opposite coasts has created some challenges during our marriage--especially between Thanksgiving and New Year. But just like Dennis and Barbara, wherever we gathered, we've always been glad that we did it together.
Understanding that this is only one of the many typical marriage stresses, FamilyLife created a complimentary Bible study for couples that provides some principles and strategies for making wise decisions together for the holidays. More importantly, this study encourages couples in building togetherness so they, and their families, can experience a deeper, more meaningful celebration of our Savior's birth. You can download a free copy here.

In the weeks ahead, there's even more help and hope available for listeners when they tune into "FamilyLife Today." Dennis Rainey and Bob Lepine tackle everthing from deeping our relationship with God to avoiding selfishness in marriage to raising up respectable young men. Some great "don't miss" programming! Find all the details when you download the December promo pack here.
As you head into this most wonderful time of year :-), I hope that you and yours find time to enjoy the endless blessings this season brings.
Merry Christmas!
