Joni and her traveling team had a wonderful four days in Dallas recently - a jam packed whirl of ministry activity, speaking, visiting radio partners and impacting college students at Dallas Theological Seminary and Dallas Baptist University.
Joni was especially drawn to these energetic college students and they were likewise completely drawn to her! Here's a heartwarming story of students who prayed with Joni for immediate healing and another about a long time Family Retreat volunteer who's now pursuing a degree in Special Education.
Additionally, Joni was able to interview with Mike Tirone, General Manager of KCBI Radio in Dallas following her remarks at Dallas Theological Seminary. And, as we enter the Christmas Season, here's a note of cheer from Joni:
"Welcome to the Christmas season, friend, and I trust that already you are sensing the joy of this beautiful Advent. I know you join me in celebrating the graciousness of God in sending His Son, our Savior, who brings His peace to our dark and desperate world. And although the holiday season is just getting started, Ken and I pray you'll enjoy many long, quiet moments rejoicing with friends and family (my sister Kathy is coming out for Christmas)! Most of all, I thank you for your partnership in the Gospel as together we give and pray and work hard to reach many more people with disabilities with the Good News of Jesus in 2012. From Ken and me and all your friends here at the ministry, Merry Christmas!"
