For this month--here's what we posted to our News & Insights section!

The Power of a Worldview

Coming from a background in Apologetics, I absolutely love Chuck Colson and John Stonestreet's commitment to developing strong biblical worldviews. This passion and dedication comes from the fact that both Chuck and John know when people truly understand their worldview and live it out, incredible things can happen.

Over the past several years as I've served with the team, I've gotten to witness some of those "incredible things." Thousands of people joined in signing the Manhattan Declaration, committing to stand for the ...

Blessed are the Peace Makers, for they shall be called the children of God

The tendency is so often to just walk away (From a family or a neighborhood, or a church).  We, as children of God are called to something different.

Forgiveness

Grace

Peace Making

This week, as I was listening to Charles Morris on HAVEN Today (7/22-24) I was convicted - because yes I too can fall prey to ...

Fathers-DayFriends of mine welcomed a new daughter--their third--to their family and dad's words in his announcement were:  "I'm in love all over again!"

I smiled.  It's so like this young man, this young father, to say those words!  And I wondered.  How many children have heard their dad say such loving words to them?

Dads Matter

A good father is one of the most unsung, unpraised, unnoticed, and yet one of the most valuable assets in our society. - Billy Graham

Fathers are mocked in TV sitcoms, declared unnecessary by feminists, and ignored by government social programs, but research and common sense say otherwise.

It's been proven that close father-adolescent bonds produce better grades in school and protect against such negative influences as peer drug use and early sexual activity.  Girls with involved dads are less likely to become pregnant, and boys who report a strong relationship with their father tend to believe that they'll ...
