Where were you when the towers fell?

I was driving up the 55 freeway to Ambassador, listening to the radio and I couldn't believe my ears - a plane had crashed into The Twin Towers ... and our nation hasn't been the same since.

It was a defining moment in our history which is still shaping who we are today.  It's because of that fact that all next week the HAVEN team is producing material around the commemoration of September 11^th.

Over the years I've come to realize that most of the world is cynical about Christianity. In fact, I experience some of that cynicism even in my own small circle of friends and family. In truth, sometimes I feel like an outsider. 

But as a follower of Jesus Christ, during those moments when I feel like a foreigner in a strange land, I know it's then that God can use me to share the gospel.  But He can't do that if my actions or words are unbecoming or lacking respect for relationships and authority.
