Change and decay in all around I see:
O thou who changest not, abide with me!
As a recent college graduate, I can assure you with complete confidence that this world is full of change. Changes like moving four times in the last year, learning how to adjust from a full-time student to a full-time employee and the added responsibilities and joys that come with it. As veterans of the radio industry you could assure me of the same. Where Pandora and Internet radio and online streaming and smart phones are influencing the way listeners can engage with content that was once only accessible over the radio airwaves.
The technology that pervades our society now has expedited a lot of these changes as well as the frequency of them. Our friends at UpWords® are experiencing many of these changes as they adjust their website, email and devotional structure to best fit the audience of today. Not just changing their existing structure but also adding tools like the UpWords® application for smart phones.
Despite all of these adjustments at UpWords®, the message remains the same. No matter what medium the content is communicated over, the encouragement of Christ's love and offer of salvation will never change no matter how many new technologies are introduced.
