Most of us have many "jobs" on a daily basis -- while we have job descriptions, our roles in the work place morph as our vocation and industry evolves.
Today, Brad Mattes is Executive Director and cofounder of Life Issues® Institute, he is an Emmy award winning host and executive producer of a weekly, pro-life television program, he also hosts "Life Issues®," the daily radio commentary on abortion and related issues and he's a frequent international speaker and lecturer on abortion while he works with other countries to establish a pro-life education and counseling presence.
Which of the above would Brad consider to be his most important job?
None.
The most important job he's ever had has been that of being a dad.
"Never will we have the honor of working so hard and being so fulfilled, all at the same time", reflects Brad about his role as a father to four sons.
Even as the world prepares to celebrate Father's Day, Brad notes that some dads will struggle with sadness on Father's Day because they've lost a child to illness, accident or even abortion.
He shares his encouragement to those fathers on a recent "Life Issues®" program, "Your heavenly Father deeply loves and cares for you. Through the blood of Jesus, you're able to move on and maybe even help other men facing similar circumstances. Nothing can change the fact you're a dad, so on Father's Day, celebrate God's grace to you."
