There's nothing more invigorating than hearing a first-hand report of someone who's recently met Jesus. Last night I was talking with a group of college-aged students at my church. Several were either new believers or still searching. They had come to the church seeking Jesus, wanting answers to their questions.
Today on "Beyond the Call", HCJB Global President Wayne Pederson shared a story about a seeker -- in the Middle East:
Aban grew up as a Muslim in a small town in the Middle East. He went to the mosque every Friday with his father and was content with his life.
Then one night Jesus appeared to him in a dream.
When he awoke, he began to wonder what it all meant. As time began to pass, he felt more and more unsettled about what he had been taught in the Koran and had many questions.
So he visited an Imam, who didn't have any answers. And then he went to another, who ended up threatening his life.
Then one day, he ended up watching a Christian TV show which answered everyone one of his questions about the Koran.
Aban found a Bible and ended up giving his life to the Lord. Today he produces Christian radio programs in Arabic.

Hearing Aban's story makes me think about these young college students asking questions. I'm confident the Bible holds their answers and thrilled they've found the church to be a safe place to ask their questions. The same is true of Christian radio! Each day, people tune in and hear the Truth.
Thank you for going "Beyond the Call" each day and providing answers to those seeking Jesus.
