Loving Support

Relationships are a beautiful thing.

Everyone needs love and support in their life. I've been blessed to have one of my sisters visiting me this weekend and as we head into a new week and say goodbye, I'm thankful for the encouragement she provided.

Being three years apart we've had our fair share of "sisterly" battles, like any siblings do. But at the end of the day, especially as we have gotten older, I know that she has my back and I would do anything for her.  

It is the strength of my relationship with my sister that brings Jim and Elizabeth George to mind. Through the new and coming-soon books that Elizabeth and Jim have written both separately and together we've gotten to see more glimpses of their relationship. The post below was from Elizabeth's Facebook page Tuesday of last week and warmed my heart as I hope it will yours.

Yes! A Couple After God's Own Heart manuscript has been turned in and will soon be on the press! Jim and I are holding up a portion of the hard copies of the chapters. 

Also you can get a glimpse of just a few of the books we used for research. The setting in the picture is the scene of the crime where we finished up this book in a marathon with Jim on one computer and me on another! It's been a while since we co-authored a book, but we had a great time...with many late nights and early mornings working side by side. It's a good thing we make our own espressos! 

(P.S. And through it all, we are still married!)

As Monday brings with it a new week of joys and challenges I am going to make an effort to make sure the people in my life who provide such support to me receive a hearty "THANK YOU". So thank YOU for your support of A Woman After God's Own Heart and taking the time to read this post.
