I don't know about you, but most days, I have a hard time keeping up with the news headlines of the day. Developments in technology and social media networks have changed the way we receive news and while we're virtually bombarded with information, being able to sort through it all while determining what's really important can be a challenge.
The Chuck Colson Center for Christian Worldview exists to equip the Church to winsomely apply a biblical perspective in all spheres of life -- public and private. Along with their daily radio broadcasts of "BreakPoint®" and "The Point®," the Colson Center provides commentary on all the important issues, but with a Christian worldview.
Because their content is so rich, we wanted to collect it into one helpful resource. Perhaps you've taken a look at this new weekly email called At The Center which is designed to serve as a helpful guide in educating your listeners to live out and defend the Christian worldview. We hope that it is meeting this need and if you have any feedback to offer, just send me an email with your thoughts.
We Need to Pray
Last Thursday marked 40 days until the national election and some of our team enjoyed the opportunity to hear Eric Metaxas speak at the Anaheim Mayor's Annual Prayer Breakfast. Eric shared his personal testimony and encouraged those in attendance to live a life of faith and do the right thing.
Eric also talked about his own conviction to pray and fast for our nation for the next 40 days. He is encouraging listeners to join him in this prayer effort. More information is provided at his website.
It was so encouraging for us to visit with Eric and to hear him say that he had no doubt that it was God's call to continue Chuck Colson's legacy with "BreakPoint®" and how it's a privilege for him to speak to your audience every day with this platform.
