Are you panicking a little? Thinking about all of the things that must transpire before then? Arranging accommodations for out-of-town relatives, getting the Thanksgiving turkey and dishes prepared, clean the house, SHOP, wrap gifts, visit the local shelter...Christmas programming?
It seems like we were just here! What was that New Years' resolution you made...almost a year ago?
It all just goes to show that time is a tricky thing. Running away from us always and only giving just enough to take care of essentials, let alone that big project you've been planning to start on for ages.
Now I don't mean to overwhelm you. But I love the holiday seasons and over the course of the ones I've been blessed to have it seems like they can go one of two ways. You can get so caught up in the decorations and shopping and events that it becomes a hectic, stressful time that just brings more traffic and less money in the bank. Or we can use it as a season of thankfulness, reflection, and joy for the reason of the season.
Here at Ambassador we are looking forward to the holidays too and celebrating with one another, friends, family and a special message from Elizabeth George! This year we are kicking off the season with lots of LOVE as Elizabeth reminds us of God's unfailing love for us and the grace he gives us to pass it along to others. Keep the spirit of 1st Corinthians in your heart and let the hustle and bustle of the holidays begin!
