The effects of technology over my life and that of the culture are proving to be huge and lasting. Growing up we went to the library to access the internet and only got voicemail messages at home on our answering machine. For some of you I'm sure the stories are even more drastic but the result being the same - I can now access my email, Facebook, web browser and a plethora of other tools from my cell phone, laptop, office, home computer, etc. Just about anywhere we go today we have the resources to stay connected to the world ...

One of the most vivid memories I have from a recent trip to New York City is that of a tree at the World Trade Center site that's referred to as the "Survivor Tree." On 9/11, the falling towers crushed the tree's branches and the ensuing fires scorched its stump. Rescue workers didn't think it would survive. But it did and it stands today as a testament to the city's ability to endure.
In an upcoming "Daily Light For Daily Living," Anne Graham Lotz speaks to endurance -- how He leads us to endure and not ...

Watch the video to see how community involvement has led to a remarkable transformation in just two short years. And, when you watch, don't miss these words:

Greetings Friends. It's a new season in my life.
When I first started at Ambassador 21 years ago, my intention was to work here through college and then go full time into pastoral ministry. The Lord had other plans. After graduating Bible College I remember Jon Campbell coming to me and asking if I'd be willing to stay on at Ambassador - what a "God appointment" that was for my wife and I. Not only have I been blessed by getting the opportunity to hear and partner with some of the most encouraging Christian voices of our day (like ...

Since Mother's Day I have been thinking much on the blessing it has been to grow up under the influence of a mother who loves Jesus. My mom has a wonderful spirit, and with it she loves her Lord first and her family immediately after.
But it wasn't always that way. My mom was saved from a secular home at the age of 19, married at 21 and had me at 25. As the oldest it has been my joy and privilege to watch her spirit learn and grow and struggle and be challenged to her utmost capacity ...
