Just one year ago, Chuck Colson issued a prophetic statement when he said, We have come to the point, when if there isn't a dramatic change in circumstances, we as Christians may well be called upon to stand in civil disobedience against the actions of our own government.
And, in a classic "BreakPoint®" program with Chuck, he reflects on the lasting impact of Martin Luther King. While many know of his famous "I Have a Dream" speech, Chuck says that most people are unaware that King also penned one of the most eloquent defenses of the moral law: the law that formed the basis for his speech, for the civil rights movement, and for all of the law, for that matter.
So, how do we advocate breaking some laws and obeying others? How does one determine whether the law is just or unjust? Read the full commentary here.
