This morning several from Ambassador's marketing team joined Seth Godin for a fascinating nonprofit webinar: How to become a Linchpin in Your Organization -- what it means to be indispensable and do work that matters. We learned not only about what's going on inside the mind of a donor, but what it could mean for your nonprofit organization.
My name is "Donor" and I have a message for you:
- I don't want to follow a factory where the goal is "output." I want to be a part of a tribe where the goal is "community and "influence."

That was the question Crawford Loritts asked over 6,000 women to consider at the start of the True Woman conference in Indianapolis this past Thursday. While his message to us (from 1 John 2:15-17) was to "be in the world but not of the world" ... it's actually a question that has been on my mind for sometime. I suspect that's why God placed it on my heart to attend this True Woman conference ... and to invite my sister-in-law to join me.

Just back from a week vacation with my children at Hume Lake in the Sequoia National Forest . . . someone said that if you return from a vacation as happy as you left, then it was a good vacation. Mine was pure joy.

But here's the question: Have you been successful?
It's impossible to answer that question if the first step in your advertising adventure was skipped--setting the goals. Without goals, picking Ad phrases, URLS and demographics is easy--because there's no measurement or guide. But when you narrow in on what you're doing, your Ad ...

An aspect to SEO that you might not have considered before is speed.
When you think of an internet user, if they come to your site and are forced to wait for images and other engagement object to load before being able to browse, they'll likely bounce. Search Engines don't want to be pointing to sites that lead to high bounce rates and unsatisfied users. So the faster your site is, the happier your user is and the more Search Engines like your site. It's really that simple.
Earlier this year Google announced some changes to the ...

Life can become so mundane, but if you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and walk with Him, you're bound to come across a "God sighting" that brings a sparkle! My seven-year-old daughter learned about how to spot a God sighting while attending VBS this summer.
Jessica told us all about how God "shows up" - in a sunset, a rainbow, our friends and family; it's a moment or a season when we know that God is reaching out to us.
It's been my experience that God sightings usually happen when we particularly need help or reassurance ...
