"I believe I'm following what God called me to do." Anne Graham Lotz-as shared in recent Christian Post article (read more here.)

When I sit in my Sunday School Class and hear the contemplative answers and discussion about Anne's Into the Word Study, I'm thrilled that we're learning so much about God's Word!

When I read I Saw the Lord, I marked sections and pages of what Anne shared regarding ...

The Great Recession

Great RecessionIt hasn’t gone away.  We haven’t been able to spend our way out of this “Great Recession.”   No one seems to know what to do.  You can watch the presidential candidates debate back and forth about ways to fix the mess we are in, but I’m not sold that any of their plans will work.  One thing they all agree on is something has to be done…but the economy is so big, the dollar numbers so difficult to wrap your head around, and the red tape so thick it seems that only some yet to be ...

Real-Time

Real-Time with HCJB Global and Beyond the CallWhen was the last time you heard a great story of God working in a far away country that happened, not "once upon a time", but last week?

We know that knowledge is the beginning of wisdom and each day, the radio program "Family Facts" relates information based on in-depth research ...

It's not just about Steve Jobs . . .

Steve Jobs (photo from Wikipedia)As I'm sure you are already aware, the internet is flooded with articles, photos and other comments about Steve Jobs. Of the millions of comments, I want to talk to you about a comment by Brad Mattes, Director of the Life Issues® Institute, which changed the conversation for me:

"World mourns Steve Jobs who was adopted. Imagine the world's loss if his mother had aborted him! Imagine all the others we've already lost." - @BradMattes

Steve's mother could never have imagined that her son would accomplish all that he did. Had she aborted him the world would ...

Joni and Friends®— Standing Tall

GracieThere is a wonderful blog post on the Joni and Friends® webpage, detailing the story of Gracie Rosenberg and how the tragedy of losing her legs in a car accident turned into "Standing with Hope", a ministry aimed at providing prosthetic legs to amputees in developing countries.

What an amazing picture this paints in my mind. Imagine, after years of distress and hardship close to the cold, hard earth, to suddenly be able to stand tall and walk again.

I was 18 months old when I received my first prosthetic arm. It was the "crawler model" so I wouldn't ...
