We can't all be a Billy Graham . . . standing at a podium, in front of an overflow stadium crowd, passionately sharing that ... God so loved the world He gave His only begotten Son so that we may not perish but have everlasting life.
And yet . . . we are each called to share the message of hope with others.
But sometimes, it's not so easy. We feel inadequate. Not prepared.
In addition to the impact Christian radio on changing lives, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) has now launched http://www.peacewithgod.net/ as yet another ministry means to share the ...

While watching "I am number four" recently, I was struck by how much I wanted to possess super powers. I want to be the superhero and 'save the day.' Cliché, I know . . . but true! That got me thinking about the real life heroes that I've had (and continue to have) in my life: My father, my grandfather, and of course, my wife. I can still remember where I was on the morning of 9/11 . . . I'd just arrived at the office after hearing news on the car radio about a plane which had crashed into the one of the twin towers.

I'm a competitive person. Naturally, therefore, I like to win! That's why I chose the winning team in life. Yes. Life! I don't need to worry about the future - no matter what happens I will be OK because I have victory in Christ.
Sometimes, however, I don't live as if I am a winner. I feel the weight of the world on my shoulders and I forget that the most important thing in life has already been taken care of.
This is why I'm so thankful that Pastor Max Lucado encourages me to set my ...

When traveling down life's path we sometimes come up to forks in the road, trees of cool shade and deserts of harsh heat. And, we also come to stop at the mile markers along the way. Reminders of where we've been and how far we've traveled.
A milestone that I see coming up along my life's path is the two-year mark since my husband was laid-off from his job. And, I'm grateful. Grateful that the Lord has kept His promise to never leave us, grateful that our community has rallied around us and grateful that ...
