Joni and Friends®— Meaningful Milestones

NRB was such a heartwarming time of reconnecting over the last year's activity, sharing meals together and experiencing the unique bond of unity through Christ.

Joni and Friends® Hymn SingThe Joni and Friends® Hymn Sing was no exception. The sound of melodic hymns burst and echoed straight out of our hospitality suite and down to the lobby where we circled and fellowshipped together. Meeting so many station partners in such a sweet time with Joni was a joy as we literally filled the hall with the Lord's music.

And, amid the bustle and fluid energy of the Radio Reception, it was a ...

150 Women Who Shake the World

It's the banner above the title for the March 14 edition of Newsweek.

And it includes some fascinating women-undoubtedly all of them deserving of the "honorable mention."

What's more fascinating is those women not included.  Names like Joni Tada, Anne Graham Lotz, Nancy Leigh DeMoss, Vonette Bright, Elizabeth George, Emilie Barnes, and many other women we could name!  These women shake the world every day to thousands who listen to their programs, thousands more who read their books and blogs and hear them speak in venues around the world.

What It Means to be an Ambassador for Christ

During the Month of March, a ministry theme the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association is examining is what it means to be an ambassador for Christ.  (Of course, we at Ambassador have a distinct affinity for that admonition--2 Corinthians 5:20!)

The Tsunami is on everyone's mind and in order to address this tragedy in a timely manner, Charles Morris has put together a 3 minute commentary that I know will speak to your listeners on the deepest level.   Listen to it here

John Stonestreet and The Point®

The Point® John StonestreetIt's been a great first week as John Stonestreet is the new voice of "The Point®."

In case your schedule hasn't allowed you to listen in, here's a snapshot of what John has covered this week on-air: Discrimination Against Religious Beliefs, Lady Gaga and Your Teens and, of course a hot topic, the Beiber Fever.

The cultural conversations that John's sharing with your listeners are exactly what they'll be talking about with their families, co-workers, neighbors and friends. It's all about reaching people where they are at...or as John says, reaching them in ...

Prayer: A Legacy

There is no greater privilege for a parent, than praying for our children!  The fact is, praying children (and praying adults) usually come from praying parents!

As we have often heard on "Keep It Simple," Emilie Barnes encourages us to pray for our children and grandchildren.

She suggests letting them catch you when reading your Bible, and when praying for them.  When children know their parents are praying for them, it reassures them of your love.

What a blessing it will be to one day hear our children and grandchildren say, "I am who I am today because my parents ...
